Rest Days – Banuyls/Thuir/Hendaye

After the spectacular views coming down to the Mediterranean Sea, I have a few days off before I go to the other side : Atlantic Ocean.
The 1st day, my friend and I go to a spa in Banyuls for some well deserved TLC. We then do a little wine tasting in the late afternoon.
The 2nd day, I have a surprised lunch with my cousins that were in the area on vacation. And in the afternoon, my friend and I just relax at her house.
The 3rd day, I take the train from Perpignan to Orthez where my brother, sister in law, nephew and his girlfriend pick me up and take me to Hendaye where it should all have started on June 1st ! We have dinner together. Only my brother stayed. He is hiking with me tomorrow.

Après les vues spectaculaires en descendant vers la mer Méditerranée, j'ai quelques jours de repos avant de passer de l'autre côté des Pyrénées : à l'océan Atlantique.
Le 1er jour, ma copine et moi allons dans une thalasso à Banyuls pour des soins bien mérités. Nous faisons ensuite une petite dégustation de vins dans une cave locale en fin d’après-midi.
Le 2ème jour, j'ai un déjeuner surprise avec mes cousins qui étaient dans le coin en vacances. Et l'après-midi, ma copine et moi passons une après-midi détente chez elle.
Le 3ème jour, je prends le train de Perpignan à Orthez où mon frère, ma belle-sœur, mon neveu et sa copine viennent me chercher et m'emmènent à Hendaye où tout aurait dû commencer le 1er juin ! Nous dînons ensemble. Seul mon frère reste. Il fait la randonnée avec moi demain.
