Day 44 – Lac des Bouillouses - Planes

19 km - 12 miles hike to get to the village of Planes. It is mostly a downhill affair. I walk in forest trails most of the way. I pass through the Pyrénées 2000 ski resort and the town of Bolquere. This is really an in between stage where I have to get to the valley before I head back up to the high altitude tomorrow.
In the evening, I meet again with a dad and his son doing the GR10. We have been following each other for several days now. They are fun to talk to and full of stories to tell.

19 km de randonnée pour se rendre au village de Planes. C'est essentiellement une descente. Je mmarche beaucoup sur des sentiers forestiers. Je passe par la station de ski Pyrénées 2000 et la ville de Bolquère. C'est vraiment une étape intermédiaire où je dois rejoindre la vallée avant de remonter demain en haute altitude.
Le soir, je retrouve un père et son fils faisant le GR10. Nous nous suivons depuis plusieurs jours maintenant. Ils sont sympas et ont pleins d'histoires à raconter.
